Dear friends,

This weekend, our hearts were broken by the tragedy that touched Traverse City. And maybe today, you’re feeling the weight of it all—grief, fear, or even confusion.

If that’s you, I want to remind you: God is near.

The Bible says in Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” That’s not just a verse—it’s a promise. Jesus told us we’d have trouble in this life. But He also said, “Take heart; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33, ESV).

At Northern Christian Radio, we’re here to walk with you, pray with you, and point you to hope in Jesus. He sees. He cares. And He’s holding you right now.

Let’s keep praying for our city, loving one another, and trusting the One who never lets go.

Join us for Worship on the Water during the Venetian Festival for a free concert with The Afters in East Park, Charlevoix and rise up to sing praise!

Gaylord Methodist Church will be hosting their Annual Day of Worship on the front lawn of the church, Thursday, July 10th, during the Alpenfest festivities. Gaylord Methodist Church Praise Band, Only9am, The Friendship Church, North Life Church of Gaylord will be providing a special time of worship from 3pm-7:30pm. We hope you'll join us for this amazing outreach event, sharing God with our community in a powerful way. 

** Some chairs will be provided, but we recommend bringing your own lawn chair as chairs fill up quickly. Also, please bring sun protection as the seating area is uncovered.
